Residency

Full Time

The maximum residency period in the Polytechnic shall be eight (8) semesters for a two year programme.

A full time student is one who has a minimum of 15 credits and maximum of 30 credits of Academic load per semester. The minimum load does not apply to final year students whose outstanding courses do not total to the minimum while a waiver in respect of maximum load shall be referred to the Academic Board for approval at the time of registration.

Part Time

The maximum residency period in the Polytechnic shall be(10) semesters.

A part time student is defined as one who has a minimum of 18 credits and maximum of 20 credits of academic load per semester. The minimum load does not apply to final year student whose outstanding course units do not total to the minimum while a waiver in respect of maximum load shall be referred to the Academic Board for approval at the time of registration.
