All offers of admission into various programmes in the institution are provisional until the candidate fulfils all the conditions listed, The offer of admission may be withdrawn at any point if the management of the institution believes that it is in the best interest of the Polytechnic to do so.
1. An application form is to be obtained from the Institution for a fee and completed forms are returned to the Institution.
2. The admission of a candidate into a programme is the prerogative of the Academic Board of the Institution which must ensure that the candidate meets the minimum entry requirements for the programme as laid down by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE)
Admission into Interlink Polytechnic follows the stages listed below:
1. Joint Admissions & Matriculation Board (JAMB UTME )
Interlink Polytechnic subscribes to admission procedures as endorsed by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) and as listed in the JAMB brochure. Interested candidates should purchase the JAMB application form and fill in Interlink Polytechnic as his or her choice of Institution. Joint Admissions & Matriculation Board (JAMB) will offer successful candidates admission. All candidates will undergo post JAMB test to be conducted by the Polytechnic in both written and oral forms.
2. Interview
a. Written Interview:
Candidates seeking admission into Interlink Polytechnic are required to sit for a written examination after they must have been offered admission into the Institution by the Joint Admissions & Matriculation Board (JAMB). Only candidates whose names are forwarded to the Institution by JAMB will be invited to write the internal examination. Candidates who are successful at this examination will move to the next stage.
b. Oral Interview:
The exercise is designed to assess the candidate's competence in the language of instruction, which is English language. Other psychological criteria such as moral disposition, willingness to learn, ability to mix freely with other students are considered at this stage. The original copies of academic qualifications are tendered by the students at this stage. Candidates who scale through this stage will move to the third stage.
3.Screening of Credentials:
Credentials of students are authenticated with relevant authorities at this level. Any false declaration automatically disqualifies the candidate.
One(1) Year Pre-National Diploma Programmes.
Candidate must possess WASCE, GCE O'level, NECO, or its equivalent with a minimum of 2 credits and 2 passes from the subjects listed under each programme. In all cases, candidates are expected to have at least a credit pass in English Language and Mathematics and any other 2 relevant subjects to the course of study.
Registration

Matriculation
All newly-admitted and registered National Diploma (NDI) students must be matriculated. The matriculation exercise marks the end of students registration.
Every student is expected to make a minimum attendance of the total possible contact hours for each course in each semester. The Polytechnic attaches great importance to attendance at all classes and practical sessions. A student who scores below 70 percent attendance may be asked to withdraw from the course. Absence from classes on the excuse of illness must be supported with a medical certificate duly signed by a qualified medical practitioner from a government hospital or the institution's clinic.. Absence on account of child birth must similarly be backed with a medical certificate.
Practical work in laboratories and workshops is essential for many courses. It is the student's responsibility to make himself aware of the various regulations of his department before carrying out such work. Students will be responsible for the cost of repairs or replacement of any apparatus damaged through negligence. All students are enjoined to take safety regulations seriously
